This year, we are celebrating 60 years of continuous scouting in Bransgore!

Just by clicking via the easy fund raising site or chrome add-in, we’ve now received over £360 – thanks!

Our last gate sign was vandalised, so we’ve had to replace it.

Hopefully, this will make it easier to see the entrance now!

 

Currently, over £150 has been raised by people clicking their sales via Easy fund raising!

Cubs today celebrated New Zealand’s national day and learned something about the culture of the Maori people 🙂

Congratulations to Andy Parker, our latest leader to join Bransgore scout movement as a cub leader.

Andy has made a real splash by really “swimming up” at the start of his investiture following a successful outdoor cub swimming event back in warm September at Avon Tyrell

St. George’s day is almost here again (just a week away).

Here’s hoping for great weather as it was today (17/04) for out Scouting parade in Christchurch

We held out annual site open day and AGM today – the weather held and – although chilly at times – it was a great success.

Thanks to all those who helped to prepare the activities and food – and also to the large number of parents and children who turned up.

Particular mention goes to the Explorers who managed to get the cargo net up – it was *really* popular!

We had a food stand at the beer festival last Saturday selling steak wraps, vegetarian wraps and traditional pancakes.

With the help of a lot of volunteers – we managed to make over £480 once costs were taken into account.

Thanks to everyone who helped – and bought our pancakes and steak wraps!
